The Corporate Superannuation Technology team is seeking a quality focussed, enthusiastic Analyst Engineer to join our team. Corporate Superannuation Technology Supports the business as they are the second largest superannuation fund with an excess of 70 Billion in funds under management.

The Analyst Engineer is responsible for ensuring that our Assets are supported and maintained in adherence with NAB Service agreements. Their core responsibility will be enhancing and developing our core technology assets under the guidance of a Senior Analyst Engineer.

 Main Activities 

  • Make initial diagnosis of problems, for a system or sub-system or apply known solutions, including documenting problems, progress checking, and escalation to ensure resolution;
  • Research and scope potential solutions in response to user problems or client requests;
  • Identify common causes of failure;
  • Perform root cause analysis.

Key Skills

  • Good analytical skills and proven track record solving difficult problems;
  • Good social and communication skills, with a passion for knowledge sharing;
  • Technical knowledge of SQL, Database Management, .NET, C#, Linux, Scripting;
  • Change/Incident/Problem Management, Level 1-3 troubleshooting and analysis experience;
  • Ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions. Analytical skills to investigate and resolve ePass payroll file errors, e.g. adhoc sql queries, server logs, business rules;
  • An appreciation of both IT and business strategy;
  • Customer service focus;
  • Nice to have skills, not mandatory - Finance/general ledger knowledge, Superb and epass knowledge (front and backend), Understanding of LDAP and Active Directory, Exposure to load balanced web environments, CI/CD – Deployment Automation, Elastic Scaling, Jenkins

Applicants with the following additional skills will be highly regarded:

  • Corporate Superannuation Business Knowledge
  • ITSM knowledge
