Job Description

This is a 6-month initial contract, with the intention to continue with ongoing employment. Our client is a financial services organization and the position will be in a newly created security consulting team. The successful candidate will focus on the uplift of cybersecurity governance for CPS234-related activities, including subsidiary governance and information security classification framework improvements. The role will develop new and improve existing governance models and processes for cybersecurity.

 Key responsibilities include:

  • Ideally, you will have a mix of security governance and business analysis skills i.e. excellent process understanding, process documentation, collaboration skills, stakeholder engagement skills
  • Business requirements identification, gathering, and documentation
  • Development of effective and efficient governance classification and operating models
  • Documenting high level and detailed processes and testing governance models with stakeholders
  • Analysis and identification of reporting requirements
  • Deliver training sessions to key stakeholders on the business-security changes
  • Participate in business strategy planning activities and contribute thought leadership and advice on cyber threats, regulatory obligations and mitigation approaches

Skills, education and experience:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a strategic cyber security governance role
  • Proven executive and SME stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent business analysis skills including requirements gathering, process analysis and development
  • Knowledge of cyber security and risk regulations including CPS234
  • Previous exposure to training stakeholders
