You are IT Asset Management expert seeking your next great career move You have a desire to build on your experience with IT Asset Management including hardware and software asset management Proven experience in managing Microsoft, Oracle or SAP software license agreements You will consider yourself an expert in It Asset Management and in identifying the impacts of changing technology and software models on legacy and new environments. Your new role is the first contact point for our internal customers to ensure their software requests meet licensing requirements and assisting in managing the hardware lifecycle. Key responsibilities include to: Compile software compliance usage reports (i.e. licence entitlements vs deployment) including vendor specific data analytics Manage the software licence lifecycle, including identification, allocation, harvesting, reallocation, compliance verification and auditing of a range of different products and licences Assist management in uplifting CBA’s hardware asset management framework and processes Accurate maintenance and management of software and entitlement inventories, as well as internal software asset management tools and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Perform periodic reviews, compliance and health checks on software inventory and provide advice on how to optimise solutions to reduce software licensing cost Your new team The IT Asset Management team is responsible for driving the key processes, compliance activities, usage reporting and Software licensing, and providing a centre of excellence for effective management of both hardware and software assets lifecycle.  This involves being the knowledge centre for software licensing and technical expertise across the CommBank Group. The team is an evolving group expanding the roles of managing and optimizing the deployment as well as utilization of software across the CommBank Group. This environment is large and complex presenting a number of exciting challenges to be involved in. What you will need to succeed A solid background in delivering excellent customer service in an advisory role and a working understanding of hardware asset lifecycle, software licence agreements, product use rights and upgrade/downgrade rights for the larger software vendors is essential.
