Together, we are helping corporations own the next horizon of innovation.   As a Senior UI Designer, you will use your skills to: Inspire DV leadership and multi-disciplinary team members with clear communication, hands-on contribution, and strong advocacy for best practices in Visual and Experience Design throughout all venture phases Leverage ethnographic insights and robust testing techniques to drive design decisions Mentor more junior design team members to elevate their craft and professional presence   Create unique products and culturally-relevant solutions to engage users with valuable experiences Consider the moments of engagement, or touch-points, between people and brands, as well as the ideas, emotions, and memories these moments create Create style guides, templates, and other accelerant frameworks for the design team members Implement a cross-discipline perspective that considers multiple aspects of the brand/business/experience and creates a way for businesses to align with design to solve customer pain points and challenges Communicate the product’s vision to partners and customers to test and explore venture opportunities Create visual brand identities for new products and concepts Identify and collect exemplars and articulate their design logic, benefits and tradeoffs Construct quick interactive prototypes that illustrate your designs: functional with modern effects, animations, and transitions as appropriate, that present a realistic feel of the intended experience Identify and collect exemplars and articulate their design logic, benefits and tradeoffs Create interactive prototypes that illustrate your UI design to a fidelity that can be validated with users Work closely with the engineering team to take your designs from a concept to a final product   As a Senior Experience Designer, you will need: A bachelor’s degree, preferably in visual communication design, or another relevant design field, or equivalent practical experience Mastery of Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and emergent tools Expertise in building interactive prototypes to illustrate your own UI for web sites and mobile apps using modern technologies: from quick prototyping tools such as InVision/Flinto to more detailed prototyping with Origami/Quartz, Xcode, or tools with similar depth 3-5+ years of professional experience as a UI Designer in a start-up environment and exposure to cross-discipline teams, preferably in a senior hands-on position designing brands and working to design user interfaces from conception to minimum viable products to large scale launch & adoption A background working directly with developers for the implementation of designs

Working in multidisciplinary teams of Product, Business, and Design professionals, Engineers at BCGDV build products from scratch and create testable software which delivers maximum value for our ventures. You are given the opportunity to learn technologies which are outside of your core specialism due to shifting projects and the opportunity to rotate from one venture to the next.   As a Lead Data Scientist, you will: Use data-driven insights to craft new software products. You will be involved from the early stages of defining data needs and sourcing data, all-the-way through to productionising predictive models as part of working systems. As a data scientist, you have a solid grounding in scientific work and are able to define and communicate key metrics to stakeholders, as you progress through delivery. Work as part of the engineering team to develop deployable and scalable software. Rapidly plan, design, implement and test solutions to data-science problems. Perform analysis on large sets of data to extract actionable insights and help drive decisions. Work on end-to-end projects to ensure your findings are executed and tested in a desired way. Work closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, designers and engineers across the company who are passionate about building creative ventures. Be a collaborating partner to product development teams, making and giving recommendations   As a Lead Data Scientist, you will need: Solid experience as a data scientist, with a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline. Experience developing software in a contemporary programming language (such as Python, Java, C++, R). Practical experience using contemporary machine learning frameworks, such as caret, scikit-learn, tensorflow or similar. Familiarity with current approaches and methodologies in solving core machine learning tasks, such as supervised and unsupervised learning. Experience driving real world product or feature decisions based on your analysis. Deep understanding of numbers, as well as a strong business sense. Ability to understand and solve loosely defined problems, find answers and actionable insights to inform product development decisions. Ability to query, manipulate and analyse large datasets.   Additional valued capabilities include: PhD or similar research degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related areas. Expertise in recommender systems, personalization, collaborative filtering and content based filtering. Experience working with deep-learning models to solve visual and language problems. Open-source contributions to contemporary and relevant machine-learning libraries. Ability to work with dashboard and visualization software (such as Tableau, D3, Mixpanel, Flurry or Google Analytics). Experience collaborating closely with research to design novel analytical approaches. Experience with distributed systems such as Hadoop/MapReduce, Spark, streaming data processing, cloud architecture.
