Design, implement, and manage databases and data delivery systems and transform it into beautiful insights, analysis, and reporting. Apply knowledge of database design and implementation tools, including entity-relationship data modelling and SQL, distributed computing architectures, operating systems, storage technologies, memory management, and networking to create structure and value out of complex and ambiguous technical challenges with little guidance. Leverage expertise in structured and unstructured data, streaming and batch data processing, ETL, data wrangling, data ingest, and data access.
-Experience with designing, creating, and maintaining moderately complex MS SQL 2012 and 2014 databases in a client-server and Web environment to store and organize data architecture products and associated data objects for mission-critical production applications
-Experience in working with users and communicating technical issues and access to various client/server and Web databases
-Experience with building and deploying database updates to real-time production and working in several environments and QA process
-Experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front- and back-end programming languages, including reviewing SQL scripts and ensuring SQL coding standards are used
-Experience as part of an agile team, using Kanban and Scrum best practices and collaborating frequently with other team members
-Ability to designs, implement and maintain complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods
-Top Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree
-DoDI 8570.01-M IASE Level II Secure Software Development Certification, including, Certified Secure Software Life Cycle Professional (CSSLP) or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Continuing Education (CE)
-Experience with major DoD headquarters staff preferred
-BA or BS degree or 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
