Full time temporary appointment up to 29 November 2019 About the Department of Education The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. About the role The role actively maintains, updates and navigates records and data management systems to resolve HR enquires and requests. The role demonstrates a high level of accuracy and efficiency and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload, enabling the provision of relevant and timely information and supports effective reporting and decision making within the functional area. The role supports the Workforce Reporting team within the Strategy and Governance functional area. The Workforce Reporting function prepares regular and adhoc reporting and analytics to Department leaders and key stakeholders in a targeted and meaningful manner, enabling timely and informed decision making. The team has an internal reporting focus on workforce related requirements including school entitlements and preparation of data for financial planning and benefits realisation. The function focuses on ensuring sound data processing and analysis that delivers consistent and reliable results and acts as subject matter expert on HR reporting systems; this includes identifying and resolving issues, understanding and reconciling inconsistencies in data and streamlining the processes for common data requests.
